Ingredients
Batter:
- 2 cups self-raising flour, sifted
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 125g butter, melted, cooled
- 2 (59g each) eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 a cup of orange juice. ( 2 oranges juiced)
Icing:
- 250 grams of cream cheese
- 3/4 of icing sugar
- 2 table spoons of Fanta
Spider Webs
- 80g of dark chocolate
Method:
- For the spider web pour 80g of chocolate in a bowl. Fill a pot with water and put the bowl of chocolate on top of the pot and temper the chocolate.
- After the chocolate is melted, pour the melted chocolate in a piping bag and pipe a spider web.
- Put your spider webs in the fridge for the chocolate to set.
- For the batter put the dry ingredients, flour and sugar in the bowl and mix them together. Create a little hole in the middle.
- Pour the wet ingredients, milk, butter, eggs, vanilla extract and orange juice into the bowl. Combine well. Use an electric beater.
- Pour the batter into a cupcake holder and bake the cupcake for 200 degree celsius for 12 - 15 minutes
- To make the icing, in a bowl out the cream cheese, icing sugar and Fanta. Combine well.
- Last off all put all the components together.
